Do I Have to be

an Artist?

People frequently believe that because they aren't "artists" or children that art therapy wouldn't be right for them. Art therapy is not an art class. There is no judgment of the art. Art therapy uses art creation for deeper insight and emotion exploration. I like to explain it this way. I can't tell you what my grief feels like, but I can show you. Do I Need to Bring My Own Art Supplies?

All art supplies are provided for in office appointments. Virtual appointments will need to provide their own supplies.

Is Art Creation Required for a Session?

No! Your comfort level is of the utmost importance. Often people feel more comfortable creating art once the therapeutic relationship is established. Art therapy is not only about creation, but discussion and exploration as well. Services are adapted to meet your needs and goals.
